Responsible Gambling
Your wellbeing comes first. Practical tips and support to keep play safe, fun and in your control.

At T20 Exchange, we want cricket to stay fun. Betting and gaming should be a form of entertainment — never a way to make money or escape problems. This page explains how to keep your play under control and where to turn if it stops feeling enjoyable.
Play Within Your Limits
- Set a budget. Decide how much you can comfortably afford to lose before you start, and stick to it.
- Set a time limit. Take regular breaks and avoid long, unbroken sessions.
- Never chase losses. Trying to win back money you have lost is the most common path to bigger losses.
- Don’t bet under pressure. Avoid playing when upset, stressed or under the influence of alcohol.
- Keep it balanced. Betting should be one small part of a healthy, varied life — not the centre of it.
Signs It May Be Becoming a Problem
Gambling may be getting out of control if you recognise any of the following:
- Spending more time or money than you intended, or than you can afford.
- Borrowing money, selling possessions or neglecting bills to fund play.
- Feeling anxious, guilty or irritable about your betting.
- Chasing losses or lying to friends and family about how much you play.
- Neglecting work, studies, relationships or hobbies because of gambling.
If several of these feel familiar, please reach out for support. Recognising the signs early makes a real difference.
Tools to Stay in Control
Deposit Limits
Ask our team to help you set limits that cap how much you can add.
Take a Break
Request a cooling-off period to step away for a set time.
Self-Exclusion
Ask about closing or suspending your account if you need to stop.
Where to Find Help
If you or someone you know needs support, confidential help is available from independent organisations, including:
- BeGambleAware — advice and support at begambleaware.org.
- GamCare — free counselling and a helpline at gamcare.org.uk.
- Gamblers Anonymous — peer support groups at gamblersanonymous.org.
You can also speak to a doctor or a trusted person in your life. Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Protecting Minors
Our services are strictly for adults aged 18 and over. If you share a device, please use parental controls to prevent access by anyone underage, and keep your login details private.
